Ada Brandt – Actress & Filmmaker
Ada Brandt is a German actress, writer and filmmaker based nearby Munich, working internationally between Germany and Mexico. Raised in Munich with an early passion for performance and storytelling, she trained in theatre in the Ruhr region under Roberto Ciulli, Helmut Schäfer and Sven Schlötcke.
In 2006 she relocated to Mexico and became an ensemble member at Teatro Sombrero Azul under the direction of acclaimed theatre director David Hevia. From 2009 to 2011 she worked as an actress and theatre educator with the NGO Sueniños in southern Mexico, developing socially engaged performance projects.
Today, she works across film and independent productions as both performer and creator, developing her own material for screen. Her artistic work is shaped by a strong physical presence, dramaturgical precision and a commitment to freedom, integrity and courage in storytelling.
