Arthur Harshagen, born in Utrecht in 1999, graduated from the Arnhem Theatre School (ArtEZ) in 2023.
Before being admitted to the academy, he spent two years training at the Meisner Toneelacademie in ’s-Hertogenbosch, where he studied the Meisner technique under Paul Dekker.
Arthur’s acting journey began with a role in the youth series Brugklas, in which he appeared from 2014 to 2018, playing one of the leading roles throughout the first five seasons.
Immediately after graduating, he was selected for The International Screen Acting Workshop at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg, Germany, where he trained for two months with international casting directors, filmmakers, and acting coaches.
Since then, Arthur has been active across theatre, television, and film. He appeared in various commercials and in the television series De Toeslagenaffaire (2024) and Flikken Rotterdam (2025). On stage, he performed in Allegro Barbaro (2024), directed by Frans Strijards at De Toneelgarage in Rotterdam.
In addition to acting, Arthur develops his own work and produced a feature film in 2025. He currently appears in the eighth season of Flikken Rotterdam and will soon be seen in the short film When Ana Met Arty.
From August 2026 onwards, he will perform in a new theatre production directed by Noël Fischer with HNTjong.
