Cristina Parovel is an Italian-born Award Winner Actress, Director, Producer, Screenwriter based between London, New York and Italy. She began her artistic career as a ballet dancer before transitioning to acting at Teatro Rossetti in Trieste, later training across Italy, England and the United States.
Her screen debut came with the lead role in Cient’anne (1998), followed by appearances in Italian films including Paparazzi by N. Parenti, Il cielo in una stanza by C. Vanzina, L’Inganno by R. Izzo and L’Ultimo Mundial by T. Zangardi. She received two Best Actress awards at the Salerno Film Festival and Premio Arte e Poesia in Rome.
Internationally, she appeared in A Winter Rose alongside Robert Miano, Paul Sorvino and Billy Zane, and worked across theatre in New York and Los Angeles.
As a filmmaker, Cristina has written, directed and produced documentaries and short films including Pasta, Amore and Fireflies, NYFW 2018 – New York Fashion Week, and I-Scream. Her work blends psychological depth with a refined visual aesthetic, often exploring identity, culture and emotional transformation.
A graduate of the Academy of Dramatic Arts Silvio D’Amico and LUMSA (Marketing & Communication), she further trained in directing and production at UCLA, Columbia University and MNN NYC, and at The Actors Studio Los Angeles.
Cristina has worked on over 40 projects across film, television, theatre and commercials internationally.
