Giuliana Balestra

I’m Giuliana Balestra, I’m an Italian actress living in New York City.. where I study Method Acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.

I’ve always believed that art is not just performance.. it’s a way of transforming what we feel into something that can touch others. Like Meryl Streep once said, “Take your broken heart and turn it into art.” That’s exactly what acting means to me. It’s not therapy, but it’s a place where I can give meaning to emotions, pain, and beauty.

Before moving to New York, I trained at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and the International Cinema Academy in Milan, where I explored both theatre and film acting. Those experiences taught me the importance of truth in storytelling.. to live, not to pretend.

Acting, for me, is a refuge and a form of expression that allows me to connect deeply with people, through sincerity and vulnerability. I’m fluent in Italian, English and Spanish. 

And I’m always searching for projects that explore humanity in its most authentic form.
