Lucia Guzmán

For Lucía Guzmán, growing up in a rural environment is one of her most cherished experiences, as it taught her how to listen and observe. From her blue attic room, she understands art as a way of being in the world and making sense of it. Thus, she has expressed herself since a very young age through music, dance, and acting, even learning four instruments in a self-taught way. Long before discovering that there was a profession called “being an actress,” she was already training for it.

From dance she has learned discipline, from music creativity, and from acting emotional depth—her three pillars as a performer. Other interests of hers include the humanities, reading, and cinema. After all, they are all manifestations of art.
