About me

Melissa Morán began her acting training in Spain, taking acting courses at Cristina Rota, at Eduardo Recabarren and at ESAD Murcia. After moving to London, she studied the BA Acting & World Theatre at Regents University London, where she also received training in directing and film editing, graduating in 2020. The university itself entrusted her with the translation of Federico García Lorca's play "Yerma". Furthermore, she developed the position of assistant director with the film and theatre director Gael LeCornec for the production of "Yerma", and also with the actor and director Kwong Loke for the production of the play "The Cherry Orchard". She carried on her training with the Meisner technique in London, and currently is going further with her training with The Method at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
As a filmmaker, she self-produced the short film "The Darkness that You Fear" in 2021.
