Neva Leoncini

Neva was born in Rome and raised in Florence by an art historian and a space engineer. She is an actress, opera singer, pianist, and linguist fluent in Italian, English, French, Spanish, and Russian. She has lived across Europe—Italy, France, Spain, the UK, and Russia—and is now based between Los Angeles and Florence/Rome.

She began performing in Florence at a young age in venues such as Teatro della Pergola, Teatro Verdi, and Teatro Puccini. She trained at the Florence Opera Academy under sopranos Susanna Rigacci (Ennio Morricone’s lead soprano) and Silvia Bossa, performing in numerous opera productions across Italy.

Neva joined the theatre company Magno Prog, touring Italy with musicals like The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Hair, and Corpse Bride. She also trained and performed under Maurizio Lombardi (The Young Pope, Ripley) in works like Peter Pan and White Snow.

She holds a triple degree with honors in English, French, and Russian from the University of Florence (2019). Her language studies took her to London, Paris, and Saint Petersburg.

In mid-2023, Neva moved to Los Angeles to study opera and stage performance at USC with Elizabeth Hynes, and later completed a master’s at UCLA’s TFT Acting for the Camera program. She’s part of the Victory Theatre Company (dir. Maria Gobetti) and Diana Castle’s The Imagined Life.

In 2023, she transitioned from stage to screen, starring in several short films and pilots, including Double Down – 2. Parità, Cindy, Always, and Love Last Stand. Her first feature film, co-starring Robert Bronzi and Daniel Baldwin, opens with her monologue and premieres at Cannes Marché du Film 2025. She also appeared in campaigns for Naked Wolfe (Dec 2024) and Ferrari – Cavallino (Jan 2025).

She also works as a script translator and accent coach for European productions.
