Actress, singer and dancer. Silvia is one of the most important figures in the musical theatre scene in Spain and Argentina. She began working professionally as a dancer at the age of fifteen, and later found a passion for text theatre and opera. She trained in Buenos Aires at the María Ruanova National Dance School, at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory and with her mother, the soprano Edith Scandro. She later continued her theatre studies with Luis Romero, Gina Piccirilli and Victoria Di Pace.
She has also taken specialisation courses in audiovisuals at the Central Film School in Madrid.
She is currently playing Susan in Company alongside Antonio Banderas.
We saw her as Countess Lily in Anastasia, Dir: Darko Tresnjiak, as Diana Goodman in Almost Normal, Dir: Luis Romero, she was Valencienne in The Merry Widow, Dir: Emilio Sagi, also Maria in The Sound of Music, Dir: Jaime Azpilicuelta, she appeared in Les Miserables, she was Babette in Beauty and the Beast, Jenny in Mahagonny, Dir Mario Gas, Catalina in Black the Clown, Dir: Ignacio García, Eva Perón in Evita, Clementina in The Coming Flood, Christine in The Phantom of the Opera and Jazz in Tango Cabaret.
In Argentina: Cosette in Les Miserables, Stephanie in Saturday Night Fever and Belle in Beauty and the Beast.
With Sergio Fulqueris trio she has her own shows, Entre dos mares with her own songs and Contratango addressing the music of Buenos Aires. As a dancer, she has been part of Julio Bocca's ballet, directed by Lidia Segni, Guido de Benedetti's neoclassical ballet of Buenos Aires, Ricardo Rivas' ballet, and Les lions ballet compagnie, covering classical repertoire such as Paquita, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker, among others.
She teaches numerous musical theatre workshops and is a vocal coach throughout Spain.
