Tiago Gambogi is a Brazilian-British-Italian award-winning actor and dancer with over 30 years of experience across the UK, Europe and Brazil.

Screen work includes The Boys from Brazil (2026, dir. Alex Gabassi), The Northman (dir. Robert Eggers), lead roles in Gail Sneddon’s indie films The Fall of Adam and Johnny Dog Ear, and Matthew Botten’s Smile, as well as Isabella, Tea Time and Um Livro Aberto (Brazilian TV). He has also performed his clown character Sérgio on BBC One and appeared in a national commercial for Morrisons.

Stage credits include collaborations with Nigel Charnock, Earthfall, Ben Duke, Angela de Castro, Grupo Oficcina Multimédia, Interplay Theatre, Ramshacklicious, Hijinx Theatre, Mark Phoenix, and The Institute for Crazy Dancing. Awards include Best Director (FESQ 2015, FESTU 2016), Best Choreography (Campo Grande Festival 2018), and winner of Pole Comedy (Pole Theatre UK 2016). He was shortlisted for the Copasa Sinparc MG Award (2019) and was recognised by Venue Magazine (UK) from 2006–2008 for his contributions to theatre and dance.

Tiago’s work is distinguished by strong physicality, comedy skills, and emotional storytelling, with a range spanning from vulnerability to power. He is co-director of F.A.B. - The Detonators (with Maggi Swallow) and creator of the Trans-Amazônia Project.
